Geriatric Falls and Balance Screens

Students are involved with balance and fall screening activities at multiple locations throughout the Delmarva Peninsula, Annapolis, and the Baltimore Metropolitan areas.

Fall prevention strategies enable seniors to identify potential causes of falls in their home.

Throughout the semester, Dr. Klima and students, go to the MAC Center in Salisbury to demonstrate and assist the elderly in learning how to get up from any falls they may encounter.
