Cadaver Anatomy Interactive Workshops
The Department of Physical Therapy hosts 2 workshops each year, an upper and a lower limb. The upper limb is typically in November and the lower limb is typically in February.
Description:
These lecture and interactive lab workshops are designed to provide the participant with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with study of the neuromusculoskeletal and vascular structures of the limbs, utilizing multiple prosected cadavers (no dissection required).Â
Objective:
To improve and expand on the participant’s knowledge of the anatomy of the limbs as a basis for physical therapy examination and intervention of patients with limb dysfunctions.
Intended Audience:
Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and occupational therapists
