Bio:

Dr. Lorenz began working in the Physical Therapy profession in 2014, first as a rehabilitation technician, then a treating physical therapist since 2019. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and has been with the department since 2024. He teaches primarily in the areas of acute care, therapeutic exercise, and soft tissue techniques. Prior to his position at UMES, he worked as a Clinic Director for an outpatient orthopedic practice and at Atlantic General Hospital, where he is still employed. He is a member of the APTA and has served as a clinical instructor to several students from various institutions.

  • Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Temple University, 2014
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy, Saint Joseph’s University (formerly University of the Sciences in Philadelphia), 2019
