Zuri Murph graduated from Hampton University with a bachelor’s degree in Marine and Environmental Science in May 2026. They worked with Dr. Jeanette Davis on using eDNA to examine microbial communities around oyster restoration efforts. They began studying for their B.S. at Hampton University in August 2022, in the Department of Marine and Environmental Science. Zuri ultimately aims to earn a Ph.D. and become a research scientist.
