Caitlyn Czajkowski is a graduate of Delaware State University, where she earned a degree in Natural Resources (aquaculture). In her research, she investigated new technology to be used in the post-harvest processing of oysters to reduce the occurrence of pathogens, particularly Vibrios.
Caitlyn graduated from Rowan University in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After graduation, she worked as a field technician at Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory and Rutgers Marine Field Station.
In 2024, Czajkowski was selected as a NOAA Knauss Marine Policy Fellow, serving in the office of U.S. senator, Chris Coons.
