Enid graduated with a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez in 2017. She Joined the LMRCSC in 2017 and completed her M.S. Aquatic Toxicology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2020. Advised by Dr. Ali Ishaque and Dr. Ashok Deshpande, her research encompasses the consequences of improper plastic disposal in the environment using sea scallops as model organisms. As plastics weather in the environment they breakdown into fragments known as microplastics that eventually find their way to organisms.
In May 2021, Enid was employed at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as a Research Assistant in the area of Biology/Biomedical Sciences.
