Maria Henson is an undergraduate graduate at Hampton University. Her research interests were in bioenergetics and fish growth. Maria is passionate about understanding the interactions that occur between fish species and their environment. During her time at Hampton University, Maria studied the relationship between fish growth and their metabolism at rest in species of the Mid-Atlantic Bight.

Maria’s future plans include attending naval flight school.
