Reese Register

NOAA-EPP LMRCSC Undergraduate Fellow
B.S., Marine & Environmental Science
Hampton University

Reese Register is an undergraduate student at Hampton University. Her research focuses anthropogenic effects on aquatic ecosystems. The goal is to practice ecosystem modeling to use technology to predict the conditions of a body of water as it has been effected by Coal Burning. Like NOAA’S mission the information and data I gather will be shared with Hampton University and the community to help them improve their relationship with the Hampton River and hopefully produce better stewards of the environment. With a model displaying past, present, and future conditions of the Hampton River, we will be better equipped to combat any ecosystem challenges it may face in the future.

Reese is passionate about combating complex environmental science and justice issues specifically impacting black and brown communities.
