Academics, researchers and students from across the globe met June 11 at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to network and share information with members of the  Water-Energy-Food Nexus, based at Penn State. Students from both UMES and Penn State were able to present their research and share ideas, including NOAA LMRCSC-II Ph.D. Fellow Tahirah Johnson (right).

The Water-Energy-Food Nexus has members from across the globe, including Africa, Central and South America, and Europe. NOAA LMRCSC Director Dr. Paulinus Chigbu (left) spoke to the group about the center and its accomplishments.
