Rhyan Knight earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in May 2020. In the summer of 2016 she participated in the university’s Geoscience program where she enrolled in a six week course focused on ocean sciences. Rhyan aspires to pursue a career as a marine mammologist, where she can study the functions and structure of marine mammals in the ocean, as well as the effects of human activities on marine life. Rhyan is currently in the Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science graduate program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
