Biosketch
Dr. Benjamin Cuker is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a BS in Natural Resources, and a MS in Resource Ecology. He received his PhD from North Carolina State University in Zoology with a minor in Ecology. He created the American Society of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO) Multicultural Program, Multicultural Students at Sea Together (MAST), and the Hall-Bonner Program for Minority Doctoral Scholars in the Oceans Sciences.
Dr. Cuker’s current research includes limnology of turbid lakes, estuarine ecology and hypoxia. Dr. Cuker is the faculty advisor to the Hampton University sailing team.
