Glen Collins is a graduate student enrolled in the Marine, Estuarine & Environmental Science program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He earned his B.S. from UMES in 2024, majoring in environmental science with a concentration in marine science, where his research involved sustaining marine fisheries and their ecosystems.

The New York native participated in the 2021 Summer Bridge to Research in Marine Sciences Program at Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia. While enrolled in the internship, Mr. Collins conducted a research project titled, Ascidians For Georgia Aquaculture? Nutritional Value and Summer Recruitment to Artificial Substrates.
