Alexandria Ambrose was an undergraduate graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences at Savannah State University in 2019. In addition to her studies, Alexandria also served as an intern in the Coastal Oceanography Laboratory at Savannah State University, where she used acoustics to study multiple estuarine organisms. Alexandria participated in several REU programs, including the program at the University of North Florida where she studied under Dr. Vladimir Mashanov. Her project focused on the cell proliferation in the regenerating arms of a brittle sea star.
Alexandria Ambrose is in the Oceanography master’s degree program at Rutgers University and working with Dr. Daphne Munroe in the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory.
