Join us on the campus of University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
The 11th Biennial NOAA EPP/MSI Education and Science Forum will be held March 4-6, 2025, in-person on the campus of University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. This year’s theme is Innovate, Educate, Sustain: Preparing Tomorrow’s Stewards for Oceans, Coastal, and Atmospheric Challenges.
The Biennial Education and Science Forum focuses on the important role the NOAA Office of Education’s three EPP/MSI programs play in contributing to the NOAA community. The three programs include NOAA EPP/MSI Cooperative Science Centers (CSCs), the Undergraduate Scholarship Program and the Graduate Fellowship Program. NOAA EPP/MSI partners with minority-serving institutions to develop a future workforce at NOAA and build capacity at these institutions in NOAA mission STEM disciplines. Since 2001, NOAA EPP/MSI institutions have graduated more than 2,000 students in NOAA mission fields. More than 70 percent of graduates are from communities traditionally underrepresented in NOAA mission fields.
