Nina Clovis is pursuing her M.S. degree at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She earned a B.S. from UMES in Environmental Science in 2024. Her research focused on benthic invertebrates of the dead-end canals in Maryland coastal lagoons. She plans to focus her career on finding ways to protect and restore marine species and aquatic environments.
