Keala Pelekai earned her master’s degree in Fisheries from Oregon State University in May 2021. Under the mentorship of Jessica Miller, Ph.D., Keala research focused on Pacific Lamprey natal origins and aging in the Columbia River basin. Her passion for fisheries lies in the research and conservation of sensitive species. Keala received her undergraduate degree in Fisheries Resources at the University of Idaho.
