NOAA EPP/MSI LMRCSC fellows came from seven partner institutions across the U.S. to meet in Baltimore at the 2024 Annual Fellows Assembly. New and veteran students convened at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) to network, workshop, and gain insight into their marine science career prospects.
After a Day One orientation, students were split into two tracks. LMRCSC faculty and NOAA scientists helped new fellows better understand each of the Center’s research themes, while returning fellows used the gathering as a writing retreat. Returning fellows also presented research posters as well as the results of their collective cohort project about offshore wind development.
All fellows were given the opportunity to tour the National Aquarium, just minutes away from the IMET.
