The Child and Family Development Center seeks to hire student workers for the fall semester, August 29 – December 16, 2022.

Applicants must be kind, loving, patient, reliable and able to work up to 20 hours per week (based upon times not scheduled for class/lab) at a rate of $12.50 per hour.  The CFDC operates 7:45-5, M-F.

Preference will be given to students who have earned a Child Care I and II certificate and those within the SANS majors.

Please complete and submit a Student Employment Application to the Office of Human Resources by following the steps below:

4. Select Student Job Board or Student Application
5. Email the application to mvames@umes.edu

Selected individuals must submit the following documents to the CFDC:

  1. copy of driver’s license/ID to confirm date of birth, unofficial transcripts,
  2. completed medical form,
  3. notarized release of information form and
  4. FBI and MD fingerprints through the UMES police department ( no cost to student)
