About:

Dr. Jonica Thompson is Veterinary Medical Officer at USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.

She is a former public health veterinarian, USDA’s Food Safety Inspection Services, overseeing sanitary operation of Delmarva poultry slaughter plants.

She is also a Unit Leader, National Incident Management Team.
