Three members of the School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences faculty are pictured for being selected for new leadership program.

School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences faculty will take part in UMES’ new Assistant Department Chair Leadership Program. Pictured from left are, Drs. Bridgett Clinton-Scott, human ecology graduate program director; Caleb Nindo, professor of food processing and engineering, and food and agricultural sciences Ph.D. program director; and Justine Whitaker, assistant professor of environmental sciences. They are among 16 faculty members across disciplines selected for the pipeline to chair program.

The program runs October 2025-August 2026 with participants attending leadership seminars and receiving training and mentorship opportunities.
