Students who wish to be under no obligation for regular attendance, preparation, or examination may register for a course as an auditor. No grade is given for a course audited, nor are any credits attempted or earned. Therefore no quality points are calculated. Students may change their initial registration in a course for credit to audit during the Add Period ONLY. Students may drop an audited course during the drop period.
Fees for an audited course will be based on the regular credit value of the course. Once a student has audited a course, he or she cannot establish credit by examination in that course. The designator “AU” will be entered on the student’s academic record for all courses audited.
