Are you passionate about sustainability and technology? We are seeking two dedicated undergraduate assistants to work on an exciting project in indoor sustainable agriculture, supported by NASA and USDA grants. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of farming.
Location: University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES)
Pay: $15/hour
Hours: 10 hours/week
Responsibilities:
Assist in the organization and inventory management of research labs under supervision.
Help set up experiments using Farmbots, Tower Gardens, and Growlights.
Collect and record data as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must be a UMES STEM major in good academic standing.
Hardworking and self-motivated.
Eager to learn and work with plants and emergent technologies.
