This course is a study of the basic fundamentals of music with emphasis on note-reading, musical notations, keys and key signatures, musical terms, major and minor scale formations. An introduction to sight- singing, melodic dictation, and ear training is included. This course may not be applied toward the music education core requirement. OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS. Three hours lecture per week.
