 Time Management Skills

  • You must be able to manage your time well. Most UMES online courses are asynchronous, which means you will not have a schedule meeting time, but will have weekly due dates.

 Motivation

  • To be successful in an online course, a student has to want to be successful. Learning online requires independence and a high-level of responsibility. Motivate yourself to stick to deadlines and complete coursework as required.
