Learn how to apply, discover funding opportunities and know what to expect when applying for graduate school during the GEM GRAD Lab event at UMES. Reserved for all STEM undergraduates (particularly juniors and seniors) and master’s students who are considering pursuing a Ph.D., the two-part event is slated for Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7.
The GEM GRAD Lab is a fun event designed to inform and motivate students from underrepresented groups in STEM fields to understand the importance of a graduate degree. Students will learn how to successfully apply to graduate school and find funding opportunities. A panel of speakers will provide their insight and experiences on graduate school and beyond.
