PRINCESS ANNE, MD – (March 6, 2020) – A spring recruitment and hiring event is in store for University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State University students. Scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students are invited to attend the USDA Farm Production and Conservation Agencies Recruitment Event in the UMES Richard A. Henson Center Ballroom. Because organizers are certain of the fact that important connections will be made, students are encouraged to have resumes and unofficial transcripts on hand.
For the event, representatives will be in attendance from key USDA agencies that include, but are not limited to, the Farm Service Agency, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Risk Management Agency, and the Farm Production and Conservation Business Center. Students can expect opportunities in the form of the following positions: engineers, farm loan assistants, farm loan program technicians, human resources specialists, risk management specialists, soil conservationist technicians, soil conservationists, soil scientists and rangeland management specialists.
