The spring 2020 SANS Seminar Series begins Thursday, February 27, at 4 p.m. in the Richard A Henson Center ballroom. Dr. Aaron Persad, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council Post Doctoral Research Fellow from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is scheduled to present. The title of his presentation is “Dynamics of Solid and Liquid in Zero Gravity.” While the lectures are open and free to the public, SANS’ professors and graduate students are especially encouraged to attend. Most of the seminars will be held in the Henson Center. Where conflicts arise, alternate locations will be identified on the weekly flyer.
Other speakers slated for the upcoming series are: Dr. YuHuang Wang, professor in the University of Maryland Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry; Dr. Tara Wyman, Algal Laboratory and Production Manager at Algafeed in Juniper, Fla.; NIFA’s Dr. Ali Mohamed, director of the Division of Environmental Systems; and several of our own professors, namely Dr. Naveen Kumar Dixit, Dr. Lombuso Khoza, and Dr. Madhumi Mitra.
