PRINCESS ANNE, MD – (October 3, 2018) – The University of Maryland Extension 4-H STEM team joins Maryland Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Festival, Inc. (MSF) and Somerset County Public Schools to bring Maryland STEM Festival 2018 to the UMES Engineering & Aviation Science Complex on Wednesday, November 7.  Reserved for K-12 students and their families, the event runs from 5-7:30 p.m.

Attendees may experience robotics, a flight simulator, virtual reality goggles, 3-D printing, electronic demos and other fun-filled STEM and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Mathematics) activities. In addition, important information about STEM and STEAM careers will be available.

The mission of the Festival is to encourage all students regardless of background and experience to take a greater interest in STEM with the hope they will pursue a STEM related or focused career (www.marylandSTEMfestival.org).
