PRINCESS ANNE, MD – (September 27, 2018) – A fall 3K Fun Walk and Community Festival is in the works, according to organizers from the schools of Agricultural and Natural Sciences, Pharmacy and Health Professions and Business and Technology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Services Center courtyard on Saturday, October 13. It is free and open to the public.
Men and women, boys and girls are invited to explore interactive and exciting demonstrations that highlight offerings from three of the five schools that make up UMES. The family-focused affair will include a 3K walk, a health fair, cooking demonstrations, wagon rides around agricultural research fields, a bouncy house, games, prizes and local entertainment.
