Despite a tough economy, Sandra beat the odds and secured employment in her field before her graduation. She successfully parlayed numerous volunteer media internships and professional networking opportunities during her college career into a fulltime job at WPLJ FM in New York City. She began work as a promotions assistant at the station immediately after she earned her degree.
