BMEN 265 Biomaterials

Introduction to bioengineering material such as metals, ceramics, polymers, carbons, and composites as well as their applications in biomedical devices and implants. The biomedical applications of the biomaterials in several areas including tissue engineering, drug delivery, orthopedic implants, ophthalmologic devices, and cardiovascular devices.
