Learn about vegetables grown in the garden and how to cook them in this UMES Extension’s 4-H STEM program featuring a chef from Sugar Water at the Washington Inn in Princess Anne. The class is for youth ages 12-18 and participants will have the opportunity to taste the food prepared at the end of the session. The menu will be driven by what herbs and vegetables are freshly harvested that week. This class is in collaboration with the UMES Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
A second session featuring another Eastern Shore chef will be held Oct. 23 (Separate ticket and registration required).

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required. An observing parent/guardian may register for free with the purchase of a children’s ticket. Those ages 12-16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
