Established: August 2000 by Elka A. Stevens.
Purpose: To provide funds for students in the Human Ecology Department at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore the opportunity to attend conferences, seminars and other activities that will contribute to their professional development.
Requirements:
Chair of the Human Ecology Department shall administer the fund
The Department of Human Ecology Scholarship Committee shall select the recipients of the funding, in consultation with the donor, if she so chooses
Prospective recipients (individuals or student groups) shall be required to submit a one page proposal outlining how the monies they are requesting will be utilized
