Olympism for Humanity: Champions of Change

Today’s global issues highlight how fragile our world is and remind us of the thin lines between hate, war, and conflict. These issues underscore the need for urgent, collective action based on the values of Democracy, Human Dignity, and Freedom. These values are crucial for promoting global peace and security while respecting human rights.

In response, Olympism for Humanity Academy (O4HA), the Center for Intercultural Education and Development (CIED) at Georgetown University, the International Olympic Academy (IOA), the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), and partners worldwide have created a program that aims to train global citizens to promote peace and democracy through sport and education.

The O4H-CIED Champions of Change Certificate Program combines Olympic heritage, peacebuilding, democracy, global health, and sustainable development.
