This is a three-hour per week laboratory course associated with General Physics I. Laboratory exercises relate to the material covered in the lectures. The course introduces students to the modern tools of collecting and analyzing data. Labs are computer based, and extensive use of a spreadsheet program is made to analyze, plot, and interpret data.
Pre-requisites: High school physics and basic knowledge of using a computer and a spreadsheet program.
Co-requisite: PHYS 161.
