This course covers differential calculus of functions of one variable, graphing, and differentiating algebraic and transcendental functions. It also covers limits, continuity, and Mean Value Theorem and applications, as well as maximizing and minimizing functions, related rate, and approximation applications. An introduction to integration is also included.
Prerequisites: MATH 110 or MATH 111H with a grade of at least “C” or four years of high school mathematics (including Algebra I, II, Geometry, and Trigonometry) plus permission of the Department (obtained by receiving a satisfactory score on the placement test).
