Procedure of application for prospective engineering graduate program applicant:
1. UMES graduate school application. Here.
2. A letter of intent describing his/her graduate studies goals and objectives.
3. Three letters of reference from faculty, engineers, or supervisors that can certify his/her ability to pursue studies at the graduate level.
4. Official transcript(s) showing the completion of at least an undergraduate degree, i.e. a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, general engineering, or a closely related technical field from an accredited undergraduate institution, and
5. [For prospective Ph.D. program applicant] Also official transcript(s) if you have completed a graduate degree, i.e. a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, general engineering, or a closely related technical field from a graduate institution.
