Pictures are not required, and students may select any photography vendor that specializes in regalia photos. Vendors usually have regalia on hand to use. The university photos are a courtesy and only a suggested photography opportunity. However, Grad Images provides professional photography setup the day of commencement. These are with professional backdrop, standing headshot position with your own regalia on. In the past there was also no sitting fee collected, they send you the option to buy with QR code and or collect your contact information. They also are the vendor that takes the photos in front of a different backdrop with your diploma cover once you exit the stage; so there are two professional photography opportunities on the day of commencement.
OPEN TO ALL POTENTIAL GRADAUTES! STUDENT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE AN APPROVED GRADAUTION APPLICATION IN ORDER TO TAKE CAP & GOWN PHOTOS. There is a $25 sitting fee (cash or card accepted) collected the day of for on campus cap & gown pictures.
