Graduating candidates will be issued 5 Guest Tickets per graduate. Children who will occupy a seat at commencement will need a ticket. All other family, faculty, staff and friends are welcome to join us virtually online https://www.umes.edu/Commencement/
Due to the high number of prospective graduates, we can only honor up to 5 additional tickets per student and an extra ticket request must be submitted by the deadline allocated (subject to change without notice). Please monitor your UMEES email and check the website often for the most up to date deadlines. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the deadline to request extra tickets.

Once you requested extra tickets, check your UMES email for updates on the allocation and approval. We recommend reaching out to classmates who may not be using all of their base 5 tickets.

⏱️ Unable to Pick Up Tickets
If you cannot pick up your tickets during the scheduled dates, you have two options:
- Designate Someone to Pick Them Up:
Email graduation@umes.edu with your full name, and provide the full name and contact information (email or phone) of the person picking up your tickets. You must explicitly state that you authorize them to do so. (photo ID required to pick up tickets) - Pick Up Tickets on Commencement Day: Tickets can be picked up on the day of commencement until 9:00 AM, prior to the ceremony in the Student Services Center Ballroom.
Reminder: The ceremony begins promptly at 10:00 AM at the Hytche Arena. Doors open at 8am.
