All other family, faculty, staff and friends are welcome to join us virtually on Friday, December 18, 2026 at 10am at https://www.umes.edu/Commencement/
🎟️ Commencement Ticket Pickup
Dates: December 9 – 17
Times: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Student Development Center, 1st floor – Office of the Registrar
Note: Students may pick up their base allocation of 5 tickets during this time.
Note: Children who will occupy a seat at commencement will need a ticket.
➕ Extra Ticket Request Update
Due to the high number of prospective graduates, we can only honor up to 5 additional tickets per student. If you requested extra tickets, check your UMES email for updates (deadline November 1).
We recommend reaching out to classmates who may not be using all of their base 5 tickets to request any extras.

⏱️ Unable to Pick Up Tickets This Week?
If you cannot pick up your tickets during the scheduled dates, you have two options:
- Designate Someone to Pick Them Up:
Email graduation@umes.edu with your full name, and provide the full name and contact information (email or phone) of the person picking up your tickets. You must explicitly state that you authorize them to do so. (photo ID required to pick up tickets) - Pick Up Tickets on Commencement Day: Tickets can be picked up on December 18, from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM, prior to the ceremony in the Student Services Center Ballroom.
Reminder: The ceremony begins promptly at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 18 at the Hytche Arena. Doors open at 8am.
