On February 6, the New York Film Academy (NYFA) visited the UMES campus, offering an exciting opportunity for Media Studies majors and minors. The presenter highlighted NYFA’s expertise in media studies and film production, demonstrating how the programs provide real-world, hands-on experience in the film industry. In partnership with the Office of Global Opportunities, students can explore study options in U.S. cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, as well as cultural hubs abroad such as Florence and Paris. This collaboration expands students’ global perspectives and enhances their career prospects in the media field.
