The Central Steam Plant provides steam and hot water to most of the buildings campus wide. The Steam Plant is computer operated, and has been modified and updated for optimum operation and energy conservation. It is staffed by four licensed 1st Grade Engineers and one Apprentice Engineer. The engineers receive continuing education and training provided by Tate Engineering, Cleaver-Brooks Boilers, Manufacturers, & Controls, as well as in-house training. The Central Steam Plant is located on the south end of campus across from Carver Hall.
