Minor in Psychology

Course Selection

The psychology minor at UMES gives students a solid background in how psychologists study and understand behavior and mental processes. Students will learn to critically evaluate information from diverse sources and perspectives based on psychological methods, theories, and research. A psychology minor can enhance students’ knowledge and skills in other disciplines, such as education, social sciences, human development, business, and law, by teaching them how to apply psychological principles to real-world situations.
