Brenda D. Slade

Having worked at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for twenty years, with thirteen years of experience working in the C-suite, Brenda D. Slade is an Executive Administrative Assistant II in the Department of Fine Arts. She is known for her strong leadership skills, straightforwardness and ability to handle several projects at one time and delivers work on time. Prior to working at UMES, Brenda worked as a librarian at the Wicomico County Library, and as studio production manager and senior director at a
local television station, WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland and at WHNTTV 19 in Huntsville, Alabama as weekend director. She is an alumna of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, graduating with a BA in Sociology.
