A brand is more than just a logo or a word mark: the brand reflects the institution’s reputation and values. At the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), the foundation of our brand is a consistent voice that is warm, confident, and clear. We have big hearts, a strong purpose, and deep roots. Brand guidelines are available to ensure a unified voice throughout all UMES communications. Brand standards uphold and enhance the institution’s reputation and should be followed by all stakeholders, including current and prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and community members.
