Bio

Consultant pharmacist since 1984, and in private practice since 2006, past Director of Pharmacy of home infusion services settings for several years. Past clinical pharmacist at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center and Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Also practiced in retail settings for 4 years, choosing to practice as well in a Hispanic retail setting. Prior to professional career as a pharmacist; was a pharmacy technician, compounding, mixing intravenous preparations and Poison Control aide: determining the toxicity of poisons and recommending first aid procedures at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center.

Areas of Interest

Practice interests include geriatric pharmacotherapy, as well as eldercare. 

Other interests: global health care especially in Latin American countries, actively serving in community endeavors such as Global Health Ministry Volunteers, Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy Dental Project, Main Street Gym, United Way Campaign, and St. Francis de Sales Catholic School.
