Web Accessibility

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is committed to accessibility of web content and student access to university information.  The university web site is built following Section 508  accessibility standards. The university regularly scans its web content to ensure that web content meets Section 508 standards. The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance assists the university in compliance with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 for full-time undergraduates and graduates at UMES.
