The Foreign Language Instructional Center (FLIC) provides instruction in less-commonly taught languages to individuals and organizations seeking to advance their language proficiency for academic, professional or personal goals. Mindful of the need to meet the challenge for critical language acquisition as identified by the United States government, FLIC uses a combination of traditional and technology-based instruction by qualified instructors. Learners use a state-of-the art language laboratory featuring Mango Languages and other language software in order to develop oral and written communication skills and solid cultural understanding.
