Middle School Engineering Competition

Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAMS) is a national engineering design competition sponsored by the Technology Student Association (TSA). During this three hour competition, students apply math and science knowledge to solve authentic engineering challenges and discover their potential for engineering. The format consists of students completing an essay (submitted prior to the event), a 40 question multiple choice test, and a hands-on design/build challenge. Each year the theme for the competition is focused on the National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges. This event provides a great opportunity to increase interest in STEM at your school, help students develop critical problem solving skills, and discover their potential for engineering! More information about the event can be found at the TEAMS website.
