The University of Maryland Physician Assistant program encourages professional development and growth. This scholarship aims to provide students with opportunities to attend local and national conferences and events associated with the PA profession.

- September 25 – 28, 2024
- Up to ten (10) students will receive up to $250 to attend this conference from Friday at 4:00pm to Saturday 9:00pm or the end of the conference
- 2nd Year didactic and clinical students are eligible.
- Students participating in the student activity will be considered first.
AAPA 2025 Denver Conference: Registration opens October 30, 2024
- Denver, CO
- May 17 – 21, 2025
- Up to ten (10) students will receive up to $1,250 to attend this conference
- Clinical year students are eligible

How to Apply
Students will need to apply via the UMES Program Website. Check back for details.
Selection
Students must be in good academic and professional standing. Students will be selected on a first come first serve basis.
Awards
Scholarship money can be applied to conference fees, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, and meals. Funds will be applied directly to vender expenses and reimbursed according to university policy.
